Meet the Artist

Hi, I'm Ginny

Welcome to my Studio!

I'm a painter inspired by the beauty of everyday life. My work reflects a deep-seated nostalgia for simpler times, brought to life through a winsome and illustrative style. Each painting is a tribute to the quiet, ordinary moments that often go unnoticed—a morning coffee, the glow of a home library, or the charm of an heirloom object. These fleeting experiences carry profound stories and emotions, and I strive to capture them on canvas.

I come from a long line of artists and art has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. From a young age, I always knew I wanted to be a painter, but it would take me many years to embrace it again. I have a degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in Retail & Consumer Science with a Business Minor (the "practical" thing to do in the 90's). Gratefully, I was a stay at home mom with my 2 kids and loved using my creativity in our home. My husband (of 24 years) and I will soon be empty nesters and I've enjoyed watching our kids grow up. I started my first creative business in 2016 but wanted to return to my first love of painting and I've never looked back.

Through my art, I want to create pieces that resonate with warmth, familiarity, and joy. My goal is for each painting to serve as a reminder of the beauty found in the ordinary and the power of simple, meaningful moments. I’m particularly drawn to capturing spaces, interiors, home libraries, and heirloom objects—the things that make a house a home.

My ideal collectors value creativity, nostalgia, and personal expression in their spaces. They appreciate handcrafted art that tells a story and adds a layer of warmth and character to their homes. I’m thrilled to share my work with others who find comfort and inspiration in the little details of life.
